Map Showed Location of Book Stores<\/p><\/div>\n

I went over the list to try to determine who was left, who had moved, who was gone.\u00a0 Here’s what I found:<\/p>\n

Again Books:\u00a0 The Phone is disconnected, I assume they are gone.<\/p>\n

Andromeda Boookshop:\u00a0 Closed in the early 1990s.<\/p>\n

Avalon Books:\u00a0 Now Avalon Comics and Games. Moved to 10 West Calle Laureles, S.B. 93105<\/p>\n

The Book Den:\u00a0 Still at the same location.<\/p>\n

The Book Loft:\u00a0 Moved to 1680 Mission Dr., Solvang, CA 93463.<\/p>\n

Robert Gavora Bookseller:\u00a0 Moved to P.O. Box 448, Talent, Oregon 97540.<\/p>\n

Richard Gilbo Books. I believe Mr. Gilbo passed away some years ago.\u00a0 He was a very good bookman.<\/p>\n

Hammer Books:\u00a0 Gone around 2013.\u00a0 His collection, or parts of it are at UCSB.<\/p>\n

Joseph The Provider Books:\u00a0 Moved to 10 West Micheltorena, Santa Barbara 93101, 805-962-2141.<\/p>\n

Kisch Book Shop:\u00a0 Gone, could not find.<\/p>\n

Lost Horizon Bookstore:\u00a0 Moved to 539 San Ysidro Rd., Ste 4.\u00a0 Santa Barbara 93108.<\/p>\n

Maurice F. Neville Rare Books:\u00a0 Great stock of books, Mr. Neville passed around 1987.<\/p>\n

Paperback Alley Used Books:\u00a0 Still at the same location.<\/p>\n

Randall House:\u00a0 Still at the same location.<\/p>\n

Ted’s Used Books & Collectibles:\u00a0 Gone around 2007.<\/p>\n

I could not find any information on the following:\u00a0 ABI Books, The Book Barn, Drew’s Book Shop, Merlin’s Bookshop, and Northwoods Books.\u00a0 Does anyone have any information on any of these?\u00a0 Let me know and I will update this list.<\/p>\n
